Subproject Objective: To provide and access clean and safe water for Tegano community and their children.

Brief Description: Tegano community is a distant coastal village along the lake lacking many services and one of their urgent needs is accessing safe drinking water. Water Supply was ranked as a priority need for the community and initially a piped water supply from a cave was proposed but due to fund limitation and construction problems, rain water tanks was later suggested by the community. Therefore, the community is proposing to the RDP program to build shard water catchment systems of 38 tanks (3000 L) for the community. he design is to construct catchment systems using existing houses with installation of approximately 23 tanks (3000 L) to be shared by 2-4 families/household at least serving the community population of 400.
