Other Comment: This SP is nearing completion after some minor works on the refill system has been done following advice sought with the Supplier of the generator (Ysato ltd) late December 2018. PSU target this SP to be completed first quarter of this year 2019. Remain works are completion of generator shed (walling) and slab concrete of the total 9 tap stands. SIC has agreed to ensure that the SP be completed before upcoming elections. Interestingly, the community were really enjoying the facility during the festive season when hosting its 2018 end year gatherings with a temporary refill system used. The water pressure was reached all tap stands despite doubts by many over the distances covered. All materials for the remain or completion works are on site (cements, timbers, gravel, 6-12mm rods, PVC pipes etc) Other issues noted were the voluntarily withdrawal of the hiring supervising contractor at the beginning of his service. SIC is yet to secure any replacement or do followup on the issue required for continuity of the hiring supervisor. This is basically to work/ guide the construction of tap stand pipe base. PSU to liaise with PCU on other alternatives should it technically restricted so we can mobilize other TCH to assist as this SP is set to be completed this quarter.
